Where has the time gone? … A 4am Studio Update

It only seems like yesterday that I started 4am Studio, and now we’re less than a week until Xmas!? 4am has been going strong for 8 months and it seems a bit crazy that it’ll be the 1st year anniversary very soon!

So, what’s in store for 2019? I’m now taking new clients for early 2019 so if you’re in need of ANY graphic design, print or website requirements, do get in touch

I’m also in the process of merging my little brand Rotten Dollies with 4am Studio. Why you may ask? Simply to keep everything in one place and offer more to customers in regard to style and products. Rotten Dollies are my quirky illustrations, plush art with a raw style, and other little projects. Since 2005 there have been approximately over 100+ creations made with several custom orders and plush patterns being changed over the time. Because Rotten Dollies now has a larger focus on illustrations, stickers and apparel while still creating quirky and weird characters, it is the prime time to see it merged with 4am.

Just before the end of this year I will be arranging some enamel pins and starting a crowdfunding project to get these set up, so pre-orders will be available very shortly – stay tuned at my Facebook page

What I’ve been up to Mid November – Mid December

New Logo Design – Queensberry Honey Company

I have had the pleasure of working with Greg and Paula to design a client specific logo for their Central Otago based business – Queensberry Honey Company. We’re working on their labels now, so we should see these in effect come 2019.

Boat Signage – Peacemaker

Commish mish complete and just in time for some summer action – the ‘Peacemaker’ boat signage done for Craig, (cheers for the support and sending through the photo, I’m always happy to see the final product).

Community based project – Pantomime

A huge thank you Rich, Liz, Gillian and the crew of Wanaka Pantomimers for giving me the opportunity to design their posters for this year’s pantomime, ‘Jac and the Beansprouts’. 🌱

Logo design – business cards / JB

I recently finished the branding for local business J Bates Electrical Ltd (including logo, business card design & print and vehicle artwork design).

Thanks for the support JB and all the best with your new start!

Custom Little Characters

Would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who ordered a Little Character for their Christmas presents, looking forward to hearing the feedback and being able to post them up in my portfolio shortly 😀

T-shirt and Facebook – Rodz & Restos

The lads at Rodz & Restos required some t-shirts and apparel recently, so I got some printed and delivered, as well as introducing them to Social Media – check them out:

Have a safe Christmas, a bubbly New Year and until next month,
