New Zealand made textiles and plush art pieces, created in small runs here at 4am Studio.I've been sewing for as long as I can remember - first taught by my mum, later through classes at school - and I started making plush pieces around 2003. That early groundwork still shapes how I work today: simple construction, strong character, and handmade details that feel intentional.
My pieces sit somewhere between soft art sculptures and plush toys - handmade designs influenced by illustration and form. Everything is produced in-house, and once a batch is finished, it goes straight into the shop. I don't offer personalisation or individual custom orders.
